In order to produce Flyday 2020 in September in a way that ensures the safety and health of attendees,

artists, vendors and staff, we are taking the necessary steps to adhere to CDC and NYS health department directives and recommendations in light of the evolving Covid-19 situation.  We are working to make listening to live music outside possible and safe by providing a Drive-In Theatre style setup with clearly marked 20'X20' square spots for your group of 6 or less.  If you feel that, for any reason, you can not or will not adhere to the following Flyday rules and guidelines, we respectfully ask that you do not come this year.  Failure to adhere to these rules and guidelines will result in you being escorted to the exit.

Face masks worn in a manner outlined by the CDC are required to be worn by everyone inside the venue area, except within your 20'X20' designated areas.   You must wear a mask when walking to the bathroom or any time you leave your designated spot.  You must practice social-distancing at all times in a manner outlined by the CDC and NYS health department.  Please bring your own face masks.  While we plan to have some to hand out at the entry, we recommend all patrons bring several for the weekend.

A non-contact digital thermometer will be used to determine if you have a temperature.  If your temperature is 100.4 degrees or above, your ticket will be refunded and you will not be permitted to enter.  You will also be asked if you are or have recently experienced common Covid-19 symptoms.

We are only selling 250 tickets which is approximately 25% of the capacity of the enclosed outdoor venue.  We are drastically limiting the number of attendees.  The space in front of the 2 side-by-side stages will be marked with designated 20’X20’ spots for your vehicle and up to 4 people in your party.  There will be markings for you to keep your distance at the vendors also, as well as tables set up for social distancing while you eat.  A mask must be worn when not social-distancing and interacting with others.

On-site rooms are available if you want your own space and bathroom/shower.  There are also a number of accommodations within a mile if Blackthorne’s rooms get fully booked.  There is plenty of space to camp at Blackthorne's designated camp spots in the campground.  Campers have access to power outlets, 6 FREE shower rooms, as well as bathrooms with flush toilet stalls and hand washing sinks.  There is also coin laundry.

Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be located throughout the venue so you can keep your hands clean.  We also encourage you to bring your own pocket-sized hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes for the venue and for your room or campsite.

Please camp or get a room at Blackthorne for the weekend to minimize outside contact.

To minimize traffic and congestion at the entry gate, we are only selling full festival passes.  Single day passes are not available.  Bring what you need from your campsite or room into the venue because you will be required to go through health screening every time you enter the gate to the stage area.

If you are sick, high-risk, have pre-existing conditions, or have had any contact with anybody who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days please stay home!  Be responsible and respectful and love your neighbor.  Everyone’s safety depends on you and your choices.

We will follow New York State’s travel restriction advisory for out-of-state residents.  Residents of states currently restricted who have not adhered to the 14 day mandatory quarantine may not attend. For more information, please visit the NY Forward webpage.

All attendees, staff, artists and vendors must sign a COVID-19 waiver acknowledging the risk the Coronavirus presents and releasing Flyday Music Festival LLC and Blackthorne Resort  from any liability.  In addition you must sign an agreement that you acknowledge and agree to follow the above rules and guidelines or be ejected from the event.

The entire Flyday Family is looking forward to enjoying a weekend of live music safely and responsibly, but it will depend on your agreement and partnership to do so.  We will do what it takes to ensure you are able to attend the Festival knowing that your health and safety is our main priority.  Will you?
